Guyutes

Renovations and addition to convert a bland existing 1 story office building into a lively Phish themed restaurant with a rooftop bar that overlooks the street corner in the Uptown 23rd district.

The patio roof and exterior stair with cedar slats shade patrons from afternoon summer sun and makes a great perch to hang out and watch cars and people go by on 23rd street below.

The interior was inspired by the Guyute dragon fruit which has a colorful but tough exterior with soft sweet middle: this inspired the interior with bright blue set against bare steel and concrete block walls. The interior also serves as a backdrop for concert memorabilia.
